​When will I receive my photos?

My turnaround time is approximately 4 weeks. I will usually post a few sneak peeks up on my social media pages within a week of your session. Every session comes with a print release via online gallery for you to print wherever you choose.

 

Can I order prints from you? Absolutely! My professional lab has fantastic quality and prints can be ordered directly from your online gallery.

 

What should I/we wear? It's best to keep clothing simple, avoiding logos or busy patterns. I always suggest neutrals, layers, & textures. Most importantly, wear clothes that represent who you are and that make you most comfortable! If you need any help determining what would look best, feel free to ask me. I love helping as much as I can!

 

What to bring? Yourself and family is all that's really needed! My style doesn't include a lot of props but I will usually bring a quilt and maybe a crate or chair for children. If you have anything special you want included though, feel free to bring it along. For family and/or children photo sessions - a drink, snacks, favorite toy, or special stuffed animal are good ideas.

 

Is there a perfect time of day for my photos? Yes! My most preferred time to shoot outside is during "golden hour", about 1-2 hours before sunset, creating the most amazing warm light during this time.

 

Can I have the RAW images? No. You'll hear my camera clicking a whole bunch, I take multiple pictures of the same thing sometimes just to insure I get the perfect shot! I then cull through each session and give only the images I think are the best of the best and worth having. 

 

What is your cancellation policy? Your retainer is non-refundable. I'm a mother and completely understand life happens and sometimes things are just out of our control, all I ask is for a 12 hour notice and we'll simply reschedule. I do not reschedule no-shows. 

 

Do you have a studio? Where will we take our photos? I don't currently have a studio, I'm a natural light photographer and prefer to shoot outside! There's a few local parks I like to use and several other favorite rural locations I use as well, we'll go over what "look" you're wanting and I can help you decide where to go for your session. Traveling outside of Tulsa is common and often encouraged for a beautiful location; but please remember there may be a travel fee for requested locations outside the greater Tulsa area.

 

Do you offer newborn photography? I do, however, my style & preference is "lifestyle newborn". This means I come into your home where you're most comfortable and take photos of your newborn in his/her nursery, with parents & family, mostly unposed. If you're wanting the more 'styled & posed' studio newborn look, I have several recommendations to other photographers who specialize in this. It's completely your preference and won't hurt my feelings at all, I promise!

 

Do you photograph weddings? Wedding photography is something I don't currently offer, I do have several other incredible photographers that I can recommend for your special day though!
